Made in Australia Trade Fair launches to celebrate Australia’s best

For the first time, retailers, online stockists, corporate buyers, hospitality buyers and designers will come together at the Made in Australia Show to champion our Australian makers and source quality Australian made products all in one convenient location.

To be held from Sunday 14 August – Monday 15 August at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush, Made in Australia Show is Australia’s first dedicated business to business trade event, featuring the best of Australian makers and designers.

The Show offers a professional platform for buyers to find genuine Australian made products and facilitate sustainable relationships within this industry. The major categories on display will include homewares, fashion, kids, beauty, and lifestyle.

“We are proud to announce the launch of our all new Made in Australia Show, featuring the best of Australian Makers and Designers to showcase their extraordinary talents. Made in Australia Show is the perfect two-day event to present and sell Australian made products to a targeted audience in a dedicated and professional environment.” said Marie Kinsella, CEO, IEC Group Australia.

“We are eager to support and celebrate emerging and established Australian businesses and their beautiful products, particularly after the challenging environment in the last 2 years. We aim to grow this show as a great Australian trade event and one that will attract international buyers.”

Made in Australia Show is a must attend event to discover the latest collections from Australian makers, and for Exhibitors to showcase their products made right here to thousands of qualified trade buyers in person.

Already gaining huge momentum, the event is attracting many local well-known companies like Corban & Blair, Axis Toys, Thurby and Pollen Australia joining a refreshing mix of curated and different exhibitors, making this the perfect chance to support Australia and discover something completely new.

There has never been more interest in consumers to buy Australian made.

Based on recent Roy Morgan Research, a huge majority of 93% of Australians said they are more likely to buy products made in Australia – up from 87% a year earlier.  The same Roy Morgan survey found that nearly three-quarters (74%) of participants are concerned about the number of products sold in Australia that are made overseas.

To be held in conjunction with Fashion Exposed Now, Australia’s only independent fashion trade fair, Made in Australia Show is guaranteed to bring together Australia’s best in the business.
